It all started when we played together for the first time at a local jam session. We immediately felt a deep musical connection and knew that we are going to create something more. 

After four years of searching, endless hours of playing and countless conversations we were able to develop our own dynamic language, and establish a harmonious balance as co-composers & producers of the project.

Through a shared passion for jazz and fusion, a common vision of a fresh and modern sound, a guitar, a violin and drums, alkalsaat was born.
